Data Deletion Instructions

Effective date: 11 August 2026 · Last updated: 11 August 2026

This page explains how to have your data deleted from Orvi, what exactly is deleted, and how long it takes. It applies both to businesses using Orvi and to people who wrote to such a business on WhatsApp or Instagram.

How to request deletion

Send an email to emiliskanderov@gmail.com with the subject Data Deletion Request.

So that we can find the right records, please include:

We may ask for confirmation that the request comes from you — for example, that you control the phone number or account named in it. We ask for nothing beyond what is needed to verify this.

Disconnecting the app is not the same as deletion

A business can remove Orvi's access at any time in its own Meta settings:

This stops Orvi from receiving any new messages immediately, and it is the right first step. It does not by itself erase data already stored — for that, send the deletion request described above. If you do nothing further, stored data is still deleted automatically once the retention periods in our Privacy Policy expire.

What gets deleted

What we keep, and why

Only what the law requires us to keep: billing and accounting records, for the period set by Georgian tax and accounting legislation. These contain invoicing data — they do not contain message content. Nothing else survives a deletion request.

Backups are kept on a rolling basis for up to 30 days. Deleted data disappears from backups when those expire, and is never restored into the live service in the meantime.

How long it takes

One thing to be aware of

If you wrote to a business on WhatsApp or Instagram, a copy of that conversation also exists in the business's own Meta inbox and on Meta's systems. Deleting your data from Orvi does not delete it there. To have that copy removed, contact the business directly and use the settings of WhatsApp or Instagram.
